Kangaroo Island is one of the world's last unspoilt wilderness areas, with 450 kilometres of spectacular coastline. National and Conservation Parks, which make up one third of the island, are teeming with wildlife and surrounded by pristine beaches. It is famous for its Seal, Sea Lion and Penguin Colonies. If you've ever wanted to get close to nature, this is the place to do it.
Day 1 - Your adventure begins with a 30-minute scenic flight from Adelaide to Kingscote. Upon arrival your professional 4WD guide will meet you for a day of spectacular exploration. Spend the day feasting your senses. See landscapes and seascapes ranging from thick bushland, dramatic cliffs, sand dunes and sheltered beaches. Your interpretive tour at Seal Bay amongst rare and endangered Sea lions, in the only accessible colony in the world, is sure to be one of, if not the highlight of your Australian experience. Along the way you'll learn about natural, maritime and early European history of the island and the famous explorers who had a hand in naming it's natural features. You'll be treated to a delicious lunch. From the beautiful scenery of the Remarkable Rocks to 'Australia's Best Beach' - Vivonne Bay. Tonight's accommodation is at the luxurious Kangaroo Island Acacia Apartments situated in Kingscote, South Australia's first settlement.

Day 2 - After dreaming of the wonderful south coast scenery from the first day, it is now time to explore the rugged north coast. Today offers opportunities for bushwalking, beachcombing and sightseeing. Visit Latham Park and search for the rare Glossy Black Cockatoo in their natural sheoak habitat. Other options include a visit to a wildlife park or a walk along picturesque Snellings or Stokes Bay - and a stroll through the majestic River Red Gums at Duck Lagoon to find koalas and waterbirds. You may choose to hike down the Ravine des Casoars, explore Cape Borda and Harvey's Return, or enjoy a coffee on the long white beaches of Emu Bay. It is a time of discovery - you'll understand why Kangaroo Island has become an international must see destination. At the end of the day enjoy the wonderful evening panoramic colours as you leave Kangaroo Island aboard your flight back to the city lights of Adelaide.
Tour departs Adelaide airport daily 09:20 and returns 19:10 the following day
